This policy explains what the IMMO STOP app and service (operated by Autosecureshop) collect, why, and your choices. IMMO STOP is a companion app for the IMMO STOP vehicle immobiliser fitted to your vehicle.

What we collect

• Email address — when you register your vehicle or sign up for updates. Used for your account, warranty/certificate and service messages.
• Vehicle details — registration, make/model and VIN you enter at registration, linked to your account.
• Device identifier — a random, anonymous install ID, so your installer can see how many phones are set up on an account.
• Immobiliser PIN / pairing key — kept on your phone in its hardware keystore. For a registered vehicle a sealed (encrypted) copy is held on our server so your installer can help you recover it after a reinstall. It is never emailed and never shown to anyone.
• Immobiliser status — whether the immobiliser is armed or disarmed, only if you turn on status sharing with your installer. No location, no history unless you opt in.
• Parked-car location — only if you enable "Remember where I parked". It is stored on your phone and is not uploaded to us.
• Bluetooth — used to talk to your immobiliser. Scan results are matched to your board and nothing else.

How we use it

To operate the immobiliser, manage your account and warranty/installation certificate, provide installer support, and send service information. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who it's shared with

• Autosecureshop (your installer) — can see your registration details and, if you opt in, your immobiliser status, to support you and your warranty.
• Service providers that run the service for us: Supabase (database/hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Cloudflare (website). They process data only to provide those services.
• Legal — where we are required to by law.

Security

All data sent off your phone travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your PIN is protected by your phone's hardware keystore; the server-side sealed copy is encrypted at rest. Access to stored data is restricted by row-level security.

Permissions

Bluetooth (talk to the board), Location (optional — only for parked-car location, and on Android 11 and earlier it is also required by the system for Bluetooth scanning), Camera (optional — only when you scan a QR code on your board card; frames are read on the device), and Internet (registration, recovery, updates).

Retention & your rights

We keep your data while your account/vehicle is registered. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by contacting us below. Deleting the app removes the on-device data (including the PIN) from that phone.

Children

IMMO STOP is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change. Significant changes will be notified where appropriate.
